Gai isnt all that strong in the grand scheme of things. Most villains could take him.

No even with the gates Kisame could take it. It took quite a few hits for Gai to kill 30% kisame ya but that wasnt with all the gates open, it all depends on how long Gai can last with all the gates open |

Yes but kisame wouldn't start off serious he would start off messing around and Gai could take him by surprise there is a chance

I don't think so. We don't know too much about Kisame's personality at this point.
And my last post was implying that Gai couldn't use the gates 3 times more powerful as he did before. In fact, last time I think he used them to the best of his ability because his own team was in jeopardy and he had to go all out.
AAAAAAAND, if Kisame was at 100% he would have more defense moves .

I don't think so. We don't know too much about Kisame's personality at this point. Simple... I know it, he want to end the mission quick. Pay close attention on the espidos that Itachi vs Kakashi. |

Hmm...I'd say Gai would win. Yes Kisame is extremely strong, he has the most chakra in the whole Akatsuki so he is REALLY strong, but Gai would win. I'm pretty sure.

Gai never beat Kisame truely. Gai would lose FOR THE LAST TIME AND I ALREADY WENT THROUGH ALL THE REASONS WHY. Kisame not only used only 30% of his power but he also had to focus on the ritual and keep the control jutsu working so really when you think about it Kisame only probably used 1/6 of his power.
And, you guys just have to realize this: Naruto has some strong-ass villains. It always takes like 3-5 characters to kill off one. Do you really think that Kisame, who is probably one of the strongest in Akatsuki would lose to one person? (and GAI being that person for that matter)?
Give reasons why Gai would win, it really makes no sense how he could
