the realeasing of the gates is not a ninjutsu, it is a tijutsu, because you are releasing the ultimate potential of your body. It is my understanding that Ninjutsu has it's effects on the outside enviornment, like Chidori or shadow clones, Taijutsu is the effects on the body, such as the gates and stregth enhancers, and finaly genjutsu is the effects on the mind that make you THINK you are in pain

Yes, however the gates uses up so much energy Lee wont be able to hold on in it for very long, the new sasuke can beat Lee sry guys

Lee does need much time to destory his oppent with the gate the only reason gaar live is because of his sand and sasuke doesnt have sand

Sauske may not have sand, but he does have Sharingan eye. If he could see Lee's moves, i don't think that lee could touch him.
