The Wedding

[Twilight]

Twilight and Kaori had been waiting for this day for as long as they could both remember. Twilight went to the church awfully early to see if everything was prepared the way it was supposed to be. He wanted everything to be prefect for the best day of his life

*Twi put on his wedding apparel while waiting for his best man to knock on the door*

"I can't believe that it's actually time..."

*twi began to flash back about the first time he met kaori and the rest of the group, the first face he ever saw was hers, then he met his cousin noah and then itasuske, nakita, kemino*

"I hope they all make it"

*Twi shed a tear when he though that his sister and brother couldn't be here to witness this wonderful event*

"Hope mom and dad are here"

Kaori was in another room down the hall at the church. She smoothed out her dress one more time as she glanced nervously in the mirror. Today was the day, the big one. Today she and Twilight would finally be married. It seemed like such a short time since she had met him.

She had been with Itasuske and the others when he appeared. She remembered laughing at something someone had said before she noticed him. When her eyes met his a little spark had gone through her and that had been that, she was hooked. The time flew and they got closer and closer. When he had asked her to marry him there had been no doubt in her mind.

Kaori smiled at her reflection in the mirror before preparing to head into the main part of the church. She was a bit sad that neither of her parents had lived to see this day but she was sure they were in heaven looking down on her.

[Twilight]

Twilight took one more good look at himself to see that everything was perfect before he went outside to the front of the alter so he could wait for his blushing bride.

*the priest appears before him*

"how are you my son?"

*Twi rubbed the back of his head*

"To be honest father I'm a little nervous"

*he patted twi's shoulder*

"It's common in these situations for both of you to be nervous"

Twilight looked through the aisles and saw all his friends and family, his parents were looking up at him with proud looks on their faces. His mother had her face in his father's chest because she was crying so much, she knew this day would come but it cam,e to fast.

Twilight walked over and helped his mother up and gave her a big hug

"I'm glad you're here"

*hinata sniffled*

"I'm just so happy for you and kaori"

Twilight looked over on the bride's side and he noticed two people acting almost the same as his parent's, he wondered

*he walked over*

"Hello"

*the man looked up*

"So you're my son in law?"

*twi gasped*

"So you are her parents?"

*the woman who was crying looked up*

"Yes, I'm her mother, we barely escaped with our lives years ago"

*twi hugged her*

"mom.....I've taken good care of her"

Kaori took a deep breath and stepped through the tall doors that separated her from the rest of the church. As she stepped through she noticed everyone that had come. All her friends were there, but who was that Twilight was talking to up front. Her eyes widen with recognition, it couldn't be! But it was, it was her parents. They were a bit older than she remembered them but it was them alright. With total disregard to the ceremony she up the alise to see them.

[Twilight]

*twilight walked up to the alter and took his position while she reminisced with her parents*

"Whenever you're ready my love"

*twi blew her a kiss*

Kaori gathered her parents in her arms with tears in her eyes. "I can't believe you two are still alive." she whispered. She glanced up at Twilight lovingly "I can't wait to catch up but right now I have to start the rest of my life." she smiled.

She took her father's hand and walked back up the isle. She threaded her arm through his as the music began. Together they walked up the isle and her father handed her off to Twilight. Kaori stood opposite Twilight with a smile on her face.

[Twilight]

"Do you Twilight, take kaori to be your lawfully wedded wife, in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, till death to do you part?"

Twilight smiled at kaori

"I do"

"Kaori do you take Twilight to be your lawfully wedded husband, in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, till death do you part?"

Kaori smiled softly "I do."

The priest then continued "Well then I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride"

Kaori grinned and leaned in to Twilight.

[Chronos]

Itasuske appeared right at that point, quietly, in a puff of smoke. He had become quite like Kakashi in his manerisims, but he still showed up. He stood in the back, quietly, and watched his two former teammates going to take the plunge. He hoped Nakita wasen't on time, that would be a very bad thing.....

She was leaning against the back wall of the room watching. We all know that Nakita wasn't a people person, so no one what complaining. She watched the wedding go on. She was wearing a green kimono with a black obi for the ceremony. It wasn't too fancy, but it worked.
Oh he was going to be in SO much trouble if he showed up. 'Maybe he'll wait if he knows what's good for him,' she thought to herself, 'but he doesn't seem to know what is good for him, so yay me... I get to kick his ass.'
When 'Kiss the bride' was said, Nakita saw smoke out of the corner of her eye. 'He has such perfect timing. Hmm... should I scare the crap out of him or should I wait for him to notice me?'
She leaned close to his ear and whispered, "Glad to see that you showed up."

[Twilight]

Twilight leaned into kaori and kissed her lips softly

"I love you"

The priest raised his staff

"I am proud to present Mr. and Mrs. Twilight Uzumaki"

*twilight blushed*

Nakita clapped along with the rest of the crowd as the priest announced that the two were FINAL together.

*twilight gazed into the crows and saw that nakita and his best man had both shown up late*

Kaori blushed as she and Twilight separated. "I love you too Twi." She glanced in the direction he was looking and saw Itasuske and Nakita. Oh she hoped they wouldn't fight today.
