When Emi awoke hours later, the sky was filled with stars. She jumped, paniced. Was the last sixteen years a dream? Then she saw Konan holding her in his arms. She smiled slight, relieved. His expression was at peace, but she could tell that he was smiling by being with her.
Emi studied his face. He was a few years younger than her, but he was matured; she still looked like a child. Slowly she placed a hand on his face and traced her fingers across his soft lips.

Konan opened his eyes, he saw her hand on his face and he smiled down at her "Hello love" Konan grabbed and held her hand and feeling great that she was finally starting to love him, her expression looked like that of a child wanting love , he rubbed his face against her hand and kissed her finger tips

"Hi," she said. Her voice was normal but she was giggling a little when Konan kissed her finers. Emi snuggled against him, smiling,

It started to snow, Konan looked up and saw the sun hiding behind the clouds. He wrapped the blanket tighter around them so they kept warm, He'd forgotten what day it was but it suddenly hit him, it was snowing, he kissed emi and smiled at her

She kissed him back. "Sorry that I didn't get you anything." Emi frown slightly.

konan looked down at her and smiled and kissed her again

Emi's face blushed slightly. She snuggled into Konan's chest to hide it. "I should had known..." she said.

Konan picked her up off the ground the blanket still wrapped around her and he kissed her softly and he walked onward down the path, the wy they had been going for days now, as they came to a narrow pass to what looked like the opening of a cave the snow stopped and he set her down. He felt something, a strange flow in the chakra network, it was time, they would come for him now and he would test just how she felt towards him

"Konan, wait," Emi said before they entered the cave. She got out of his arms. "We should go back to Konoha...." She looked to the side. "Everyone should be worried..."

Konan simply just wrapped his arms around her "All I need is you, no one else, not right now" Konan just stood there, this was her test, he had to know how she felt.

~Meanwhile Back in Konoha~

Twilight was still laying in his bed, his body racked with pain from Emi messing with his soul

"Ngh...How can he love her?"

Kaori at his bed side he smiles up at her weakly

~Back To konan and emi~

The chakra flow got heavier, any minute now....

Emi bit her lip. She got out of his arms again and stared into his eyes. "But you're a Konaha shinobi, you need to be there for your village," she said. He had to go back... Now. She pushed him back. "Please just go...."

Konan stayed put

"I'll only go back, If you go with me"

Konan stepped forward again, she could push as many times as she wanted, he would still walk right back up to her, Konana felt a rush of wind go through the cave and saw a flash that wasnt lightning

"Konan......" She looked back into the cave for a second the back to him. "If you go in there you'll die!" Emi held up her arm. "I'll make you go back if I have to."

Konan grabbed her hand and smiled as he looked into her eyes

"And why would I die? as long as i'm with you you'll protect me right?"

Konan laughed softly to himself and kept walking as if nothing was wrong

Tears gathered in the corner of her eyes. Emi turn to him and grabbed his soul. "Konan, go back to Konaha," she said. She glared at him. "Please don't walk to death..."
