Ok, I know it has come up several times in the "What if?" thread on this site (look in the "games" part of the village) so, I will propose a idea to get all of us together.
The plan is thus. During the summer vacation for all high school and other students (Please, those of you who are in school, remind me what months those are), I propose that all the people on this site (even the people who don't post regularly) get together at a anime convention. Now, to be fair to everyone, the location will most likely be somewhere in the mid-west.
Now, for logistics. I know no sane parent will trust some 19 year old kid with their children. And they are right to do so. So, as we will need responsable adults, I propose that each person who is attending bring a (two is fine as well) parent chaparone with them (Unless the person coming is over 18 years of age, then it is up to the discresion of the member). As for hotel reservations, once the Location is decided, then I will research the local hotels, and will book however many rooms that will fit. (The boys and girls will be seperated into different rooms. Depending on the room arangement, the Parent to member ratio per room will probably be 1/4. All excess parents will be seperated much like the members.)
TO ALL MEMBERS: I encorage you to have your parents e-mail me at crispantioch@aol.com. I want to know about any kinks in my system. To re-iterate, I myself will be providing: Hotel Rooms, Tickets, and on a case by case basis, trasportation (I may be able to afford air tickets, but will most likely be either bus fare or train tickets)
