Appreance: Kaori has short black hair that she keeps tied in a ponytail. Her hair has faint silver and gold streaks in it. She is very pale even though she comes from the Village Hidden in the Sand. She wears a black sleeveless belly shirt and black capris. She has black bandages wrapped around her legs and black fingerless gloves that go up to her elbows. She wears her headband tied around her right arm. She is about 5'6" and weights 105 pounds.



Kekkei Genkai: Kaori's clan has the ability to control sunlight and moonlight. Most people in her clan have lost their ability to do this so over the years it has been seen as forbidden. When Kaori controls sunlight her hair turns gold and when she controls moonlight it turns silver. Kaori's ability allows her to make sunlight stronger, hotter, lengthen shadows, anything that sunlight does. And most people don't know but moonlight is cold, so Kaori can focus it and use it to freeze things.

1.) Chakra Absorption Technique
-This jutsu allows the user to absorb the physical and spiritual energy of an opponent

2.) Narakumi no Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique)
-Narakumi no Jutsu is a Genjutsu technique that causes its target to see a horrifying vision. The ninja will use the rat hand seal to cause a circle of leaves to spin and envelop the target and then fall away. Once cast the world will appear normal to the target until they see the illusion.

3.) Clone Great Explosion
-This jutsu works in combination with the Shadow Clone Technique to create a shadow clone that will explode on command.

4.) Kanashibari no Jutsu (Temporary Paralysis Technique)
-Used to cause one's opponent to lose the advantage of movement. Freezing them in their tracks, this Jutsu creates an opening for a more dangerous attack. Most ANBU seem to know this technique.

5.) Poison Extraction Technique
-This ornate jutsu uses chakra to literally pull foreign materials from someone's body

6.) Shadow Sewing
-The user of this jutsu can extend their shadow and create multiple tangible tendrils for various purposes

7.) Temple of Nirvana Technique
-This jutsu causes everyone within a specific area to fall into a deep sleep. From the target's point of view, it seems as if feathers are falling from the sky, which serves as a distraction to allow the jutsu to take effect. The downside, however, is that it takes a fair amount of time to take effect, and any experienced ninja has more than enough time to dispel it.

Background: When Kaori graduated the acadamy her clan threw her out because they feared her ability with her Kekkei Genkai. Kaori was placed on a team with Shikamaru Nara, Ino Yamanaka, and Chouji Akimichi. Asuma taught Kaori and Shikamaru how to work together because their abilities mixed. Kaori lengthened shadows and Shika used the shadows. Shika and Kaori have never been close but they work well together. Kaori keeps every one at a safe distance because she trusts no one since her clan exiled her.
