Yah, plus Kimimaro had that virus, remember? It is a easy fight. If Gaara could kill him, then Itachi could alot easier. Plus, Itachi has much more than just the Sharingan. He also has a variety of fire jutsus and illusionary techniques that would leave Kimimaro in the dust.

Yup, i think its agreed that Itachi would win, but if Kimimaro didnt have that disease, and he had had those 3 years to improve and grow like the rest of the characters, it would be a pretty good fight.

indeed. Now, with a three year growth limit, I think it would be a awesome fight. We have seen that Kimi can withstand even a Sand Burial, which is almost a instant-death move. He has even withstood being completely buried in sand and crushed. He has a awesome resiliancy to pain, and can push through death-like pain. But the point is that Itachi has in his grasp Genjutsu that complety decimate people's minds, and he has Ninjutsu that can blow away usually fire-retardant walls. He also has that Genjutsu sword, which locks people into a eternal state of genjutsu. I still think Itachi has the upperhand here, though I would like to see what he would have to offer against Itachi. We have seen that he can withstand Tayuya's genjutsu techniques, but we have also seen that Tsukyomi is no ordinary genjutsu. We will remain forever unsatisfied. lol
