true but shikamaru has to do that thing if he whats to think 200 step ahead and his charka gets drained real fast doing his jutus   |

well his speed without the weight are fast so shikamaru shadows jutus could keep up gaaras sand couldn't even keep up just saying Shikamaru has seen Lee fight before so he knows what he can do. Because Shikamaru is a genius he has probably already figured out a way to fight his crazy fighting style. Even if it doesn't work he can still think on his feet better then almost everyone. Thats the reason i say Shikamaru |

You just don't get it!
He still can think 200 steps ahead! That thing just helps him think! If he was in a situation where time was not a factor then he could still think 200 steps ahead. That's why those Ninja were talking about him becoming a true ninja leader because he could think without expanding much time and he could get himself out of most situations just by thinking for 10 seconds.

yeah, thats right. I remember that everyone was impressed with Shika, untill he gave up. I think i know another reason, when the all grow up, i mean like naruto making a rashingan w/o a clone old, Shika dosen't kill off, but totaly defeats a Autaski member. Haven't read too far in it, but lee hasen't done anything like that yet.
