It's the year of the 100th Abhorsen and things should be going well. The Old Kingdom has been left in peace since Orannis was banished but the Dead seem to be building in power again. Now the new Abhorsen must have the help of the royal bloodline and the Clayr if they are all to defeat this new threat.
