but Itachi would win, hands down. And if i recall correctly, Orochimaru when he was talking to Kabuto about his "containers" said that Itachi was too dangerous, and that his power has surpassed even his own.

i agree Itachi Would win this battle no Doubt.
but don't get me Wrong Orochimaru would put a Awesome fight.

Nah. I mean, this battle almost already has happened in the manga. Itachi wins in one move after Orochimaru takes control of Sauske's body. So i'm pretty sure Itachi wins no matter what.

I say either of them could win this one and the fight would be fair, but everybody forgets one VERY important detail of Orochimaru....
His Resurrection Jutsu.
That ability alone puts him on a high power tier. Why? Think about it, he can essentially summon something even nastier then any Biju, provided he knows of their existence. The main one would be Rikudou Sennin. If Orochimaru brought him back, it would be endgame right then and there.
However, Itachi also possessed many one hit KOs, so Itachi could try and one hit KO Oro before he got his summoning off. But if Oro did get such a summon off, it would be endgame for Itachi, however he would still put up an AWESOME fight and could also take out some of the Hokages if Oro summoned them. I see Itachi more likely to win then Oro though, but thats not to say Oro could not beat Itachi either.
