Chaos chronicles (Mariah, twilight, Kaori, come!)

Lily felt the air quiver and the earth tremble a bit as Gil threw the kunai and, without even opening her eyes, solid rock came up around her and stopped the kunai dead. She slowly lowered the earth and stood up, opening her eyes and smirking. "Not bad."

[Chronos]

"Just wait, it gets better...." he said. he made a jerking motion with his hand, and the kunai flew back up into the air. With another flick of his wrist, the kunai came screaming in for the same target. Meanwhile, Gil had his feet firmly set on the ground, waiting for any sense of movement from the earth.

Lily had to spin quickly and jump behind a tree. She wondered if the kunai were attached to some sort of chakra string or if he could just control them. Either way she wasn't risking anything. She started taking earth and packing it around her, forming armor.

Seseria smiled and let the other two go at it, listening to their every move. The girl was forming armor around her body with dirt; Gil was moving his kunai with some sort of jutsu. She sat there, listening patiently for the others to continue their fight. There would be no reason for her to battle if someone came bursting into the clearing with the idea of attacking the three ninja. She would save her energy for a fight that really mattered.

[Chronos]

They probably thought he was controlling the kunai with his chakra. It was much more simple than that. He pulled them back, and unattached the strings from them. Such things you could pull off, just by deception. He saw that Lilly had made some sort of armor out of earth, which was probably going to be a pain to get around. He pulled out a shuriken, and threw it right for Lilly's chest. He then sent another kunai at Seseria. It was a different sort of kunai though, it looked heavy.

Lily stood there and let the kunai hit her. It hit hard and she would probably be brusied there later but she needed to test the strength of the armor. The tip of the kunai pierced a little but not enough to do any hard at all. She smiled, pleased with the armor for now. She waited and watched what Seseria would do.

[Chronos]

"Boom...." Gil whispered, as the kunai which had been in Lilly's armor exploded, as the other kunai was slower than the other, so it would take awhile for delivery.

Lily flew backwards a bit but stood up quickly to ward off any other attacks that might be coming. All the air was knocked out of her though.

[Chronos]

"You like that?" Gil asked sarcastically. "Mini explosives. Hand made, and very dangerous to both the owner and the target." Gil ran, mentally, though his bag of tricks. If these fools were dumb enough to be tricked by these weapons, then they were in for a rude awakening. Gil flung his arms wide, and two shriken flew at Lilly, but looked as though they were going to be very wide of their mark.

Lily was a bit more wary this time. If he had hand made explosives then he could have a bunch of other stuff. She ran for the trees, watching the shuriken the whole way.

[Chronos]

The shuriken, true as where he threw them, flew very wide of where Lilly was. Gil watched, and sighed as the shuriken fell to the ground a few feet behind Lilly. "I need to work on my aim...." he said to himself.

Lily still didn't trust those shuriken and jumped far clear of them. She was sure they had explosives in them. She dug out her own kunai and threw them at Gil as she ran.

[Chronos]

Gil flipped backward, and pulled his arms into himself. As Lilly was running, she was tripped up by a intricate web of strings. "You like them? As soon as I threw my shuriken, their spinning motion snet hundreds of thousands of strings flying everywhere, interconnecting with each other." He said.

Lily caught herself and pushed up again. She looked around and saw thousands of almost invisible threads all over the field. She wondered how she was going to fix that. Well she figured she'd give the obvious route a try. She made some quick handsigns and used a fire jutsu.

The strings caught on fire, but they stayed lit up. "Yeah...might not want to do that. all they do is conduct fire, it doesn't burn though...."
