What Jin didn't know was that going to Kaori's probably would've helped. Kaori was the only one of "her kind" as well. She was the last of her clan and didn't know the extent of her abilities. Plus she was a great cook.

Jin just walked the streets for a long while. He slowly walked into a dark alley. He sighed and closed his eyes. His friends were his family he realized. He ran to catch up with everyone. He stopped when it started to rain quickly. He put on his hood and ran to a shurt cut he knew. "ok just down those steps and some roads I'll be there", he said running down the steep stairs. He tripped over a slippery step and fell the rest of the way down. "I can't be late", he grunted as he got up. He ran again and he didn't care that he was scratched up. He ran through some streets and panted. He wasn't near there yet.

Again, Gil stood in the background. Of course they didn't care about him. He wasn't broken, so there wasn't anything to notice. He quietly faded into the background, and opened a dementia portal into his own mind. As he slipped into the portal, he couldn't help but notice that everyone had left before he did.

Enaci was halfway to Kaori's house when she realized that she had left Gil there by himself. She told everyone she's meet up with them and started running back. She made it just in time to see Gil open the portal. She tried to yell after him but didn't know if he'd heard her.

Jin looked around. All he saw was rain. He needed to get out of this rain. He ran to a ladder and he climbed up it and ran atop of buildings. He jumps from building to building to get there faster. He couldn't keep this up much longer. He slipped another time but he grabbed the edge of the building and picked himself up. He panted even more. He layed on the building soaken wet. "ok new plan", he said climbing back to the normal ground. He ran to a bridge and smiled. "Yes almost there", he said running to where they trained. He hoped they were still there. He ran faster and faster. He was just a few blocks away now.

Kaori was at the house cooking up some ramen and throwing together a salad. She had made lots extra cause she had a feeling there'd be guests and they'd be hungry.

Jin guessed that they'll be there already and ran swiftly to KAori's and Twilight's house. He climbed over he fence and fell causing a huge noise.

Kaori looked out the door and saw a soaking wet Jin laying on the ground near her fence. She laughed quietly and went to get a big fluffy towel. "Come on in and dry off Jin!" she called out.

Jin slowly got up. Was he early? Jin slowly went in reluctantly. He swiftly wiped off any blood on him before Kaori came back. "T-thank you", he said shivering.

Kaori wrapped him in the towel with a smiled. "Twi and the others should be here soon. I hope you like ramen and salad."

Gil heard the last part of the yell, but payed no attention to it. He had his own agenda to keep up with. He appeared next right on top of the Hokage faces. Two shadows met him there. "Are you sure that his current location?" a female voice said. Gil nodded his head. "Then our old sensei is around here somewhere. We just have to draw him out....." sneaky, almost silky voice said. "commence the mission....." Gil said. At that point, the buildings themselves started becoming mis formed. The ground shook, fissures cracked the ground, and unearthly energy radiated from them. "Team Demon, our time of reckoning is at hand...." Gil said, blood red energy pulsating off of his body.

Jin felt a rumbling. "um yes I guess so", he said quietly. Jin looked outside as he walked outside.

Enaci shook her head and quickly caught up to the others just as they were getting to the house. She felt the ground shaking and knew something was going wrong.

Jin turned to Kaori. Her upbeat happiness was making him feel alittle happier. He forgot all about his big choice. He walked to where he saw the red light.
