Time for a new beginning

[Chronos]

"I am getting WAY to old for this kind of thing," Itasuske said to himself. True, as the master of time, he could assume any age he wished, but still, with all of his experience, he felt like a old man. He kept telling himself that he was only here to observe, and only to intervene when absolutely critical, but darn he felt old. He had watched twilight and Konan uninterrupted for quite sometime now. He knew that there was danger, yes, but still, that always came with a mission.

Axel burst forth from a ball of flame right in front of Caleb and Hiro. "Hey guys! We goin' on a mission? alright, I'm ready!" He got his weapons out and saw them walking. "Why are you going slow? We could be traveling alot faster..." He got up and flame transported 10 ft. away. "See?"

[Twilight]

"It's so the enemy doesn't see us coming.....I could twi port just as easily but they have a ninja that can track teleporters.....that's why we're walking"

Caleb and Hiro jumped into the trees and started running at high speeds

"So caebl how much longer till we get there?"

Hiro asked trying to keep up with him

Axel was surfing on a wave of flame. "I think I like this way better." He then kept showing off by doing flips in the air. "Yep, definitely like this better."

"And where do you think you're going?" Amaya asked, popping up in front of her older brother. She was now 10 and he was 13. Both of them were genin, but Amaya seemed more mature of the two. She stood there with her arms cross. She was wearing black pants and a red long-sleeve t-shirt and a small black cape with a hood. He hair was the same as Itasuske's, only that her bangs covered her byuaguan eye. 'Mom's not going to be happy,' she thought to herself. Dad was already doing something or another, being the time-manager-person, and Mom had been really moody of late. Amaya knew why, but Axel was too dumb to notice and Dad hasn't been home long enough for Mom to tell him.

There had to be something to do, walking around, panicking, wasn't doing anything. Emi sighed as she stopped. The thought's couldn't leave her mind. She needed to talk to Konan... NOW. Her mind couldn't stop returning to those thoughts. She looked around where she was; somewhere in the forest. She was about to turn around, to see if she could find Gil, but she stopped when she heard a noise. She quickly grabbed that person's soul, sensing their chakra and asked, "What are YOU doing here?"
"Just coming to get you, yeah," came the familiar voice of Deidara.
"I'm busy," Emi said, letting him go. He walked out from the bushes.
"It's seems more like you are settling down, yeah," he said with a slight smirk.
Emi glared at him. "And you have been stalking me?"
"No not at all," the blond said, putting his hands up in defense, "It's just obvious, seeing you haven't been back in a few years, yeah."
"Just go and worship Sasori, or whatever you do," she sneered, turning to return to the village.
"Not without you, yeah."
Emi turned angerly. "Don't temp me Deidara! I will kill you if you continue to annoy me." Before he could say anything else, Emi walked away.

[Chronos]

Axel was still having fun. "Awwww....little Amaya still worried about her big brother?" He taunted. "Lighten up! I'm with my friends, and we are on a mission. That's all!" He did a handstand on his flame surf, and continued on with the mission.

Gil was reading poetry in the forest, and felt Emi coming toward him. "Oh, this is going to be interesting...." he sarcastically to himself.

Amaya jumped onto her brother's back, causing him to lost balance and fall. "Mission? Now what mission would that be, one that you're NOT allowed to go on?" She sat fully on him, crushing him with her weight. "Plus, Mom needs you home." She said all this with the smallest amount of expression on her face and in her voice.

Emi looked to the side, seeing Gil. 'Shit, I hope he didn't see that,' she thought to herself. She bowed her head slightly, showing she noticed his presence.

[Chronos]

Axel sighed. True, he wasen't supposed to be on this mission, but he knew it was going to be fun! He resigned himself, and gave up. "Alright, let's go home....."

Gil looked up. "Well, if it isn't the soul princess. What can I, poor, poor Gil, do for you?" He said, every word positively dripping with sarcasm.

Amaya, knowing her brother, knew that he wasn't going to give up that easily. She mentally sighed, but lead him home.
At home, Amaya called out to their mom, "We're back!"
"Hey, guys," Nakita said, coming out of a room. She was the same old person as always, but her stomach was a little round. Amaya felt giddy everytime she saw her mom, she was just excited! "So no sign of your father?"
Amaya shook her head. "But..." she said, grabbing her brother, who was trying to sneak out of the room, by his hair, "Axel was trying to run off with Caleb and Hiro."
Nakita sighed and looked at her son. Her habit of running off must have been pasted on to him. Then she got a small smile when an idea hit her head. It'll be something good for them to train in, and it'll give her peace and quiet. Itasuske better be back soon, otherwise she was going to make it Hell for him.
"Axel, you can go with your friends... only if you don't get caught by your sister."
Amaya gaped at her mom. "WHAT?!"

Emi just rolled her eyes at Gil. He was always like this. But then she thought for a second; why wasn't he with Konan? "Please don't talk like that," she wrote in the air, "I really want to put all that behind me. But do you know where Konan is, you're usually with him.

[Twilight]

Caleb sighed, they didn't have time for this

"Mrs. Itasuske we really need to go....so if we're done here then see ya"

*Caleb twi ports them back to where they were*

"Alright Team 14 let's go!"

Caleb takes off with Hiro right behind him

"EMI! Finally! what is going on? no one is telling me anything", Jin said sadly. Jin was shuffling his feet.

Emi looked at Jin when he popped up. "You're know with Konan either?" she asked him.

Caleb, Hiro, and Axel were almost to the valley of the lost

"Not too much longer boys, we're almost there"

Hiro sighed

"Ok, let's take a break"

Hiro and Caleb stopped and rested by sitting on the floor of the forest

"I have no clue where he went", Jin said sad for Emi.

Emi looked back at Gil, hoping he had some sort of answer.

Jin stared at Emi. "Emi grab my hands and focus on who you desire most. It'll show you where he is", Jin said making his whole body covered in shadows.
