"Of course not," Emi said, simply, "We're hiding so that you can get your stength back, your brother did do a number on you."

"But....my brother never hurt me before.....what made him do it this time?"

Konan got up slowly again having a bit more strength

"I have to get home....he's probably worried about me"

He finally got to his feet and was standing firmly but wobbling a little

[Chronos]

Gil, after fighting the demon off, leaped off into his own world. He meditated in there while Konan fought off his own. He slowly came out, exhausted. "So, what is going on?"

[Twilight]

*Konan pulled out his sword and used it as a crutch to try to get him out of the cave*

"I have to get back...."

"No," Emi said. She stood up and blocked Konan's path. "You are injured and need to rest. You can worry about stuff later." Ok maybe his whole personality came through. The fox spirit must only activate either when she makes it, and/or when he's in trouble. Oh well. "Konan, go lay back down."

[Twilight]

"I....Can't....I have to get back"

As he walked the fox flared up, healing his injuries as he walked out of the dark and wet cave

"Twi....what happened?"

[Chronos]

Gil waited for him at the mouth of the cave. "You know, you should listen to her, for your own good," he said, and laid a hand on his shoulder

[Twilight]

"No...Leave me alone Gil...."

Konan walked out of the cave into the forest

"I need to get home"

Emi sighed. This was going to be harder than she thought... Oh joy. Emi walked out of the cave, behind Konan, and grabbed his soul to stop him from moving. She turned him around so that she was glaring into his eyes. "Konan, you need to stay here," her voice said full of command.

[Twilight]

She knew that he was scared of her, but he loved her just the same

"I just can't Emi, I have to go home"

He tried to turn around but she wouldn't let him go

"Why are you trying to keep me here?"

"Simple," she said, "I'm protecting you from your brother. He tried to kill you." She paused for a second to let him get the full effect of her words. "He's jealous of you because you will become stronger than him some day. He sees you as threat."

[Twilight]

Konan looked down at his feet

"My brother's not jealous, the one of the strongest nin in the land of fire"

At home twi was cleaning the cuts from all of konan's sword strikes

"Damn! those hurt kaori!"

Emi shrugged. "Fine leave, I guess. But I hope you realize that once you return, you're most likely going to have to kill me." She let go of his soul.

[Twilight]

"Emi, I don't want to leave you...but I feel my brother needs me"

Konan fell over, he couldn't gather any more energy

"So what are you going to do Konan?"
