woah you ppl fucking suck, sasuke is like the best character in the series. He's not emo, yes he is an asshole,and he does care about people other than himself other wise he wouldn't have wanted to avenge his clan, he would have killed naruto when he had the chance, and he wouldn't have cried when he found out the truth about itachi.

And let's say speaking hypothetically of course you lived in a ninja world and your entire family was murdered by your older brother and he left you alive,then ran away. Now wouldn't you be bent on revenge....i guess what i'm trying to say is that wanting revenge does not make you emo. look at neji he wanted revenge until naruto kicked his ass but did anyone call him a winy little bitch or emo...no they did not.

I used to love Sasuke in the beginning of Naruto, but then
he left Konoha. That wasn't much of a deal, but then we
saw him again and he was like fucking 100 times stronger
than before. Now that, I didn't like.

Whoever thinks Sasuke is emo can kiss my ass. He's a wannabe. Sure his family got killed, but rather than doing the emo thing and going "poor me", he goes off, kills his brother, and then finds out itachi was a good guy, thus going into "I'm a retard" phase, and following the orders of Akatsuki, in an attempt to destroy The Leaf Village.

come on! he f***ing punches sakura for no reason when he's leaving kohana! he hates when girls follow him! come on! you should love that if you're a guy!

he's an a**hole because he seems to believe that he can beat anybody.

Also the fact that he seemed to get so powerful in such a short amount of time doesn't seem very likely to me at all... Overpowered much?

I don't mind Sasuke, but he is not one of my favorite characters. In fact one of my least favorites, but not because of his jerk-ness, but just because of how he has been handled by Kishimoto. Kishi favores him, and thus, by making the leaf village evil, turned him into an anti-hero, to an extent. Sure, he is making naruto look all "heroic" now with the Pein thing, but before that, when Sasuke was in the spotlight, the leaf, what naruto had been trying to protect and serve for so long, was made to basicly look like Nazi Germany with the Uchihas as the jews. Now, it COULD have been all Madara's lies(which I would not put past him) but most likely, the way Kishi handles Sasuke, he will make the leaf(and thus Naruto who is protecting it from Sasuke) look like the villain, and have it be Sasuke who converts naruto/gives Naruto his answer how to "save" the world......which would just be lame, since this manga is called NARUTO.

Anyway, I am not saying that will happen because this is just a theory thread, but what I am trying to show is the kind of special treatment that Sasuke has gotten over everybody, even the main character. Thats the end reason I dislike him, because he is gotten so much special treatment that he may as well have stolen the manga from the main character.
