Has anyone heard about the 13 year old girl who got her feet cut off when a cord from a freefall ride in six flags broke loose. Its pretty sad, there is still no word whether they can sow her feet back on.

Yes i heard about that, i feel bad it was a freak accident, and if anyone is afraid of these rides dont be, you have a better chance of winning the lottery then having this happen again

If she lives though she will probably own six flags because her parents are probably gonna sew it into the ground for every penny its worth

Yeah I heard about that. I doubt that they could actually sue them for all they've got. -lol- That would be retarded if they could. It's called an accident for a reason, accident doesn't mean it was someone elses fault so go sue.

It was a freak accident something no one could've predicted. That ride went up millions of times before this happened so it wasn't an accident it was a freak accident. Yes it is tragic to what happen to this girl and they probably could sue, but i bet six flags paid all her medical stuff, probably gave her and her family a life time pass(dont know if she will use it) and did everything else to make it so she wont sue. However like i said dont let this turn you away form amusement parks, you have a better chance of win the lottery then of something like this happen again, well thats my 2 cents ^_^

I don't see why, no one could have predicted this, a cable breaking and wrapping around a little girls feet, sounds almost weird to me. This ride is safe i can promise you that nothing bad will happen with this ride for a really really long time. Six flags and probably like a 100 safety exceptions ect...Rides are still safe and most of them will always be safe. Sadly there are freak accidents like this, but its like getting struck by lighting it still happens.

I have heard of that story, and it is knida shocking how we feel so secure and a thing like that could happen. There is amusement park nearby where my cousin lives in CT. On one of the riders called Boulder Dash there have been two freak killings. One when a poor man (Employee) stuck his head out between the rails the the cart hit him, that must have been a shocker for the people in the front car, and another time when a tree fell on a person in the middle of the ride. Freak accidents are rare, I have been on that very roller coaster on more than one occasion, and guess what? I'm still here. Those stories aren't meant to scare but tell the public the truth. And best bets are that she will live the rest of her life scarred of amusement parks and without feet. It is tragic but doesn't mean we shoudln't still go.

I never heard of it. One of my friend works at amusment park, I believe this is attempted murder, not an accident, he put up the warning note on not to turn on the electric in the area he need to work on. While he was repairing, some other worker TURN on the eletric and he was shock and sent back few feet. He couldn't use his right arm and hand. Right now, he is doing well, he regain control of his arm.

People will sue over anything they think they can get money out of...this girl's family will get money of some kind and it may be a hell of a lot of it as well....people have won stupider things...there was this guy who was driving a city plow and hit his own car, he sued the city and won....how stupid

I heard about a guy who was driving a RV, and the sale man say it's auto drive whenever you want to, all you got to do is set the route and it'll fallow it. He was driving it and he set it on auto pilot and walk to the back to get more coffee, he did set it and the RV didn't turn when it need to... THE RV DROVE OFF THE CLIFF!!! He sue the RV shop and he won... what did he won? Free RV, top of the line and 2.3 MILLION DOLLARS...
