Telestial Story

I have started to try and complete a gamescript i've been working on in a while and i've decided to get everyones opinion on it! This is only one side however! The Dark Side

Chapter 1: Dark Rising

~Scene opens to a blonde girl who looked to be about 5’5” with green eyes looking out of a window from a stone chamber. The chamber was dimly lit and it was almost completely empty except for a bed, wardrobe, and a mirror. The girl was wearing a black cloak and her skin was pale as snow, giving the impression that she hadn’t left the tower in a long time. As she looks out the window, the door of the chamber opens and a boy not much taller than the girl enters and bows~

Boy – Lady Kristal?!

Kristal – Is it really that time chaos? *Doesn’t remove eyes from window*

Chaos – Yes it is! Shall I call for the others?

Kristal – Yes, but first, send one of my pets to the Shinsei Tokai Monestary.

Chaos – Yes my lady! As you wish! *Stands up quickly and marches out of the room*

Kristal – The time has come for me to take my place as the ruler of this pathetic world…..I must first kill that meddling mercenary Locke.

~Kristal walks out the door and down the stairs into Great Hall of the tower and out the door~

Kristal – I will find you Locke!

~Eyes glow red and her hair flies up a little then she calms~

Kristal – Found you!

~Flies into the air and straight into a forest across the frozen lake behind the tower and lands in front of a tall black haired boy in armor~

Kristal – Are you ready to die Locke?!

Locke – Sorry! Not quite yet! *pulls out sword*

Boss Battle

Locke

Weakness – Shadow

Strength – Light

Kristal - *in battle* This ends here!

Locke - *in battle* Think what you wish!

Wah?!?!? A boss battle so early in the game? Strange, but i guess it works........ And cool, you read my mind. A strong female character, but what is her story? Why does she hate Locke so much? It starts off way too sudden and dosen't explain anything. Then again, you could be doing this so that you lose on purpose, therefore making you go into a flash back, or something along those lines. I just like linear storyline, but that's just me.

Actually. Most games start off that way with no background at all. The background itself usual fills itself as they go along.

Thats true...its like an attention grabber at first! lol so later on everything will come into place i'm guessing...

Sorry, not used to you young whipper-shnaper's types of games. (Gets old man costume out, complete with walker) I'm used to havin something to go off of besides "I want to kill you now!" And a boss fight. sorry, guess I'm just not up with the times...... ;D

*Cinematic*

~Kristal throws a blast of dark energy at Locke who is thrown out of the forest and into the ashen ruins of a monestary nearby~

Kristal – Finally….he’s dead. Now, I shall return to the tower to meet with my soldiers. *Flies to her tower and walks in* Chaos!! Bring them into the main hall! I will speak them here!

Chaos - *from distance* Yes My lady!

~A couple minutes later Chaos arrives in the main hall accompanied by two people. A rather short, blonde male rogue and a rather tall, black haired, and very skinny female archer~

Kristal – Where is Natasha? Hmm?

Chaos – She says she wants to work alone.

Kristal – Ugh! The insolence! Oh well….we’ll get her. Now! You two! Speak your names!

Rogue – I am Dante…

Archer - ..and I am Leona

Kristal – Very good….now, do you both know what you’re here to do?

Leona – We are to assist our mistress in the taming and capture of the world.

Dante – We will also prove to everyone that those with abilities of the shadows are to be respected for their abilities and not shunned.

Chaos – When and where will we start?

Kristal – Patience Chaos….I wish to see how strong these two have become and whether they remember how to fight or not. Let us head for the chapel. I take it my pet did it’s job Chaos?

Chaos – Yes. It has been destroyed and our test dummy has been released in the ruins.

Kristal – Very good. Then let us go.

~Cinematic End~

~Chaos joins your party~
~Dante joins your party~
~Leona joins your party~

~The party leaves the tower and Kristal leads them to some chapel ruins to the east of the tower~

Kristal – The creature we have sent here will surely be used as a test to see your strength.

~The party enters the ruins to find Locke still alive and accompanied by three others~

Uhhhhhh, isin't it their job to be interesting?

Anyway. Coolness, thanks for some storyline, and the twist with Locke at the end makes it even more interesting. Keep it up!

? – What a pain!?

Chaos – A pain is right!

Girl – Who are you?

Locke – That’s Kristal, Chaos, Leona, and Dante. They are obviously not very nice people.
Kristal is the one that caused that explosion.

Jack – No way! She’s just a kid!

~In background~

Leona – Hey Chaos? Who are they?

Chaos – That’s the mercenary Locke. I believe the rather tall gangly one is Jack. The girl is Melody.
She’s a battle priestess from the Shinsei Tokai Monastery, and she is silver. She’s a medic at the rogue’s
camp just south of the tower.

Leona – What are they doing here?

Chaos – I don’t know.

Kristal – A kid! You question my abilities?! You are cocky aren’t you!

Chaos – Shall we show them my lady?

Kristal – Yes. Leona, Dante, this will be your test.

Kristal – Had enough?

Jack – Damn you...

Locke – Run! *grabs one of Jacks flash bombs and throws it*

~Melody’s party escapes~

Chaos – Damn it.

Leona – We had them…

Dante – Silence…I sense someone, but I can’t make out the scent.

Kristal – Natasha…

~Cinematic Starts~

~A girl cloaked in black jumps down from what is left of the wall in front of the party and walks towards them~

Natasha – You attacked my brother…I may not like him, but that doesn’t mean
I’ll let others attack him.*Throws her cloak off revealing the clothes and ballistics underneath*

Kristal – Natasha…you really think you can take all four of us out alone?

Natasha – I’m not alone…*twirls scythe and throws it into the air then catches it*

*Three black cloaked figures appear from over the wall and land next to Natasha*

D: ZOMG!!!! This is really good Noah! You, my friend, have a talent for writing! This reminds me of an old Play Station game.... Vagrant Story or something. It just started out with "I'll shall pwn all" just like this and you have no idea where it's going.... lol we got rid of it before anyone could beat it. I really can't wait to see what happens. (Hey maybe you could get this made into a game! I would so buy it)

Chaos – shit.

Kristal – What is it Chaos?

Chaos – Twilight Elites…

Dante – That’s not good for us is it?

Kristal – So you’ve joined the twilights. You’re still no match for us.

Natasha – We’ll see.

Mischa – That was sad.

Natasha – Sorry to waste your time, but they attacked my brother.

Zalphe’ – Don’t worry about it.

Kristal – This isn’t the end. You won’t stop me!

*Kristal and the rest of the party disappear in black smoke*

*Screen opens back at Kristal’s stone tower*

Kristal – Well done. You all fought well.

Leona – But we lost!

Kristal – Shut up!

Chaos – Lady Kristal…I hate to say it, but she’s right. The twilights are going to be a real pain.

Kristal – I guess we should find a way to stop them first.

Dante – I know of one way. At least a way to stop Zalphe’. We could kidnap her fiancé.

Kristal – Who would that be?

Dante – Ishtan of the northern winds.

Chaos – How do you propose that?! Ishtan is heavily guarded and he’s no easy fight himself.

Dante – The two people guarding him are Xaldin and Faye of the Eastern plains.

Leona – I like where this is going.

Kristal – They will be easy to manipulate to our cause.

Chaos – We may not even need to manipulate them. Xaldin is rather dark already.

Dante – In any case, let’s head to Butte.

Kristal – Not before you three are properly equipped. *She raises her arms and summons three weapons in front of them. A bow, a pair of Katana, and a small set of knives*
