The creature, confused on why it's target handen't started droping yet, turned it's head a full 180 degree turn to look stright at Kaori. It then let out a terrible scream, and popped out of it's outer shell, letting what was holding Kaori plummet to the ground. The creature regrew it's natural armor instantaniously, and started a head first dive stright at Kaori.

Kaori tensed as she saw the creature headed at her. The horn was worrying her but she tried to stay calm. She now let herself begin to fall, picking up speed as she approached the creature. Right as she reached the creature she twisted in mid air, landing and sliding down the horn. She took the needles and thrust them at the creature's head.

the creature reeled, but was still alive after that last atack. It then hit the floor, which was tha actual thing that killed it. Tuf, still with no emotion on his face, conceded defeat. "You are a truly worthy ninja, i bow and concede defeat to you." He bowed, and handed Kaori a small cat. "Make no mistake, Havok here is a bit wild, but he is a special cat. His latent psi powers have been modified, so if you talk to him, it will be like talking to me. But for now, i would like to see what there is to eat around here." and he left the stadium.

Kaori bowed low before her opponent "You too are a worthy opponent. I hope we meet again. Thank you, I will treat Havok well." She watched him walk out of the stadium before returning to the stands herself and collapsing in a chair. The fight had taken a lot out of her.

Itasuske walked into the middle of the field. "Well, seeing as how there are no more schedualed fights at this time, a short intermission shall be held, then the second round will begin, and the winners will fight each other." He then disappeared.

Twilight readied himself for whatever was about to come his way, was he going to have to fight kaori? if he had to he couldn't. Not only was she his teammate, he was madly in love with her. "So who do you think you'll get?" He was aimlessly trying to make small talk for fear of her noticing that something was making him uneasy

Kaori looked down at her thumbs "I don't know," she whispered. For once she was actually afraid. Twilight had made it through his fight as well, that meant they might have to fight. She fought down a blush as she replied "I hope we don't have to fight."

Itasuske went to the Jonin's office. "What? A late entry?" "That's what the roster says, Itasuske. We have a new challenger, actually two, that want to compete." Itasuske thought about it. "Fine, but I have a condition. Have the two new people wait inside the arena." Itasuske ran off, and two new ninjas stepped into the arena. Both seemed pretty unassuming, wearing standerd ninja gear and having nothing in particular that seemed to make them stand out in any way.

Twilight was fighting back a blush as well "I hope so too, I wouldn't be able to fight you" he looked down at his feet as he twiddled his thumbs and then he noticed the two new ninja. "hey look down there"

Itasuske went into the stadium with a bit of a sour look on his face. These two, how dare they actauly think they could enter the tournament late? oh well, at least this time, things would probably get very interesting. "And now, ladies and gentelmen, we have a special surprise for all of you. We have a 2 on 2 match! Will Kaori and Twilight, please come down to the stadium floor!"
