Chunin exams

Tuf blinked. She was closing her eyes? She didn't know that you could summon without handsigns? He looked again at the sigil he had made on the ground. sure, it was good for one time use, but it still took alot out of him.

The animals, not really caring about honor, lunged at Kaori while she had her eyes closed.

Kaori smiled, she could feel the animals move. Had he forgotten the change in her eyes or had he just not noticed? She opened her eyes suddenly and drew her daggers. As the animals came at her she let them get as close as she dared before she uned sunlight transportation to get into the air above them.

[Chronos]

When she sprang up in the air, the real trap was sprung. Some of the sunlight bugs, immune to the attack that Kaori had done to burn all the other creatures, came out of the ground and piled on Kaori.

Kaori gasped under the weight of the bugs and poofed into smoke. The real Kaori was in hiding, smiling and not using her sunlight. Her quick eyes had noticed the bugs and had known she had to get out of there. Her moonlight powers came to life as she prepared for a final attack. One she hoped would end the match. She gathered her powers and used moonlight to transport herself this time. She came out right behind Tuf, a dagger at his neck. "Call them off or you die." she threatened

[Chronos]

Tuf smiled. "A worthy skill, that sun and moon energy. I must find a way to effectively counter it besides my bugs. But for now, i think Chaos will do." He substituted himself, but his cat, which he was holding, leaped and clawed at Kaori's face. The other animals, sensing their master's weak condition, made a circle of 10 that surrounded Tuf. The other 20 all attacked Kaori while she was distracted with the cat.

Kaori smiled and ducked. She had expected that but now she knew how weak he was at the moment. She whistled and a wolf popped out of the ground. He dealt with the cat quickly then came to her side. The 20 creatures were going to be a problem. She figured she could deal with the bugs but the creatures...well they were different. She sighed and briefly closed her eyes, gathering chakra. When she reopened her eyes they were bright and burning. She climbed on the wolf's back and put her hands together in her special way, preparing for a big attack.

Tuf blinked. he had seen this type of thing before, and placed his hand on the ground. All the creatures gathered to him, and the sun bugs all gathered around Tuf. They started secreting a fluid-like substance, but it congeled to make a fire/sun proof barrier. And underneath this barrier, the creatures started squirming in a very strange fassion, and started disapearing.

Kari grinned watching him. Let him create his barrier it wouldn't help him. As she concentrated the stadium started getting darker and darker. Many people looked up and noticed something most had never seen before. The sun and moon were coming in conjunction with one another. It was Kaori's ultimate strength. An Eclipse. As soon as the eclipse was total her power would skyrocket and she'd be near unstoppable. So let him make his barrier...she's just break through.

The animals were squriming and disapering faster then ever, untill it came down to two things. One was Tuf, easily recognizeable. the other, it was completely forign. It had giant, insect-like wings. Large, ape-like arms. Lithe, but strong legs, like a cat's. The head was reptillian, and the body, matching the wings, was insect-like. Then it was clear. The barrier was no barrier at all, but a chrysalis. And it started to crack.

The moon and sun had finally joined. Kaori looked up smirking. Her hair gave off a light of it own being black but with silver and gold highlights. The chakra she gained from the eclipse gathered around her in a kind of aura. She noticed the chrysalis and that it was starting to open. She grinned, it looked like they were both gathering for a final push.

[Chronos]

Tuf walked out of the crack, and saw Kaori. "Your chakra is strong, and you will most likely be the only match for my creation. This is because, it has the same powers as you, but has more physical strength and flight to compensate for that wolf of yours. I hope you have fun." The creature burst from the Chrisalys, and took flight, heading stright for Kaori. His chakra equaled hers, and he went for a stright punch.

She grinned. This would be it, the final showdown on who was stronger. She knew Tuf himself didn't have much chakra left at all. If she could break this creature it would all be over. As the creature came at her she used sunlight transportation and landed on the creature's back. Flight? No problem. She pulled out her daggers and hung on.

[Chronos]

The creature raised it's temperature to that the daggers melted. and the chitonous armor of the creature regrew almost instantaniously. It's skin was also hot enough to severly burn anything that was on it. It then grew a horn out of it's head, preparing for the decent that Koari would make, eventualy.

Kaori smirked and threw the daggers aside. But the heat did not bother her. It was something the creature could not copy. Part of being a Shizuoka was something in the blood. they never burned and they never froze. No matter how hot the beast got she would not burn. She had been prepared for this though. She pulled out her special senbon needles. They would not melt for she had coated them in her own blood. "Beat that." she whispered.
