"Man, why do I have to be the one waiting?!" Nakita yelled to no one as she punched a rock. She was on the outskirts of Suna while Kemino was having some sort of meeting with Gaara and other Suna Ninja. She cursed Kemino and her future generations. "Just because she doesn't like Dad, doesn't mean she can't trust me," she growled to herself. Really, Nakita didn't trust anybody on the team a lot, but enough. But Kemino was a different story. From the beginning, Nakita didn't trust her, and then Kemino insulted her father; you NEVER insult Orochimaru when Nakita's around. But if their lives were on the line, Nakita could trust Kemino enough.
She punched the rock again, out of fustration, and it crumbled. She sighed and started to think. 'Since I can't be part of the group, I'll just come up with something myself,' she thought. 'I could send Nutmuncher to go look around the area for anything, but if he ran into those machines... But wait, if they're supposed to be unstoppable, why would Itasuske put us againt them? Is this supposed to be some kind of test? No, I don't think he's THAT stupid... I hope. What if he knows they're weakness and just isn't telling us?'
"Argh, this is too confusing!!!" Nakita said to herself, holding her head in her hands. She sighed and jumped up to a rock and sat down. She looked into the sunset, her mind wondering. Where did she stand in this world? Her father was Orochimaru, basically the enemy to everybody, and her mother was Tsunade, Hokage of Konaha and sworn enemy of the Sound.
"Dad..."
She hugged herself. Nakita remembered, back when she was little, her father would comfort her when she was upset about something. She smiled slightly. Everyone thought he was heartless, but Nakita knew differently. She really wanted to talk to him, just to get this stuff off her chest, but she knew that it could cause some problems. 'But there's Itasuske... NO Nakita WTF are you thinking?!' Nakita sighed and shurged to herself. She did her mind linking jutsu and linked to Itasuske. She didn't say anything, and maybe, hopefully, he won't notice. Nakita just wanted to feel someone by her.

Itasuske felt a small creeping into his mind, but let it go. As soon as it connected, Itasuske immediately reversed it and was inside Nakita's head. "He made a image of himself apear before her. "Nakita, what seems to be troubling you?"

Nakita jumped slightly as she saw Itasuske in front of her. She immediately calmed down and slightly growled, "Why should you care?"

Itasuske smiled, remembering that Nakita was still a child. "You are part of my team, and teammates are supposed to care for one another, right? So, seriously, what is troubling you? Wondering what your part in this life is?"

She glared at him. She really hated him sometimes. "It's none of your business." Then she thought for a second. "Are you hiding anything from us?" she asked, something in her voice that almost had a hint of both her parents in it.

Itasuske stared back. He could just tell a lie, but that wasen't his style. "Yes, I am. But not of the Machines. It's something of a personal nature, i'm afraid," he turned his back and the white rose shown promanantly on his back.
