As they were walking, Kemino stopped suddenly.
"What's up?" Nakita asked. Kemino stayed silent but she turned and looked at the ground. Nakita raised her eyebrow and looked as well. What's she looking at?
"We gotta hurry," Kemino said. She began doing handsigns and as she did, something came out of her bandaged arm and landed on the ground.
'A... snake?' Nakita wondered to herself.
When Kemino was done, she touched the snake and it grew to a huge size. She jumped to it's head and started to say something to it in a strange language. "Get on," she called down after conversing with her snake.
Nakita jumped on and looked back at the Taken, but they weren't there. "Where'd they run off to?" she asked herself. 'Something's wrong,' she thought.
Kemino said something in her language to the snake. The snake made a noise back and moved foward.

[Chronos]

The shape of stormbringer could only made hand motions, and speeled something in the air. "I am only a after-image, I can't talk, doofus...." it read

As the snake moved forward, ten thousand arms reached out of the sand and grabbed on to the giant serpant. A bodiless voice called out from the sand. "Please, surrender. Your distictiveness will be added to our own. Stand down, and come quietly. Resistance is......futile."

Kaori approached it. She wondered what an after image could do. Why use it if it wasn't any good?

[Chronos]

The image shrouded itself, and wrote another message in the air. "Do not come back to original spot. We took out many, but they come up like ants. We will regroup at your village." With that, the image disapeared.

"What the hell?!" Nakita shouted out in surprise.
Kemino growled to herself. This wasn't good. "Kinika!" she shouted. The snake nodded and shook the arms. Then the snake leaped in the air. Kemino started to do handsign. "Shadow Snake!" A giant black thing came out of nowhere and devoured the hands.
"Kemino what are those?" Nakita asked.
"I honestly have no idea," Kemino said.
Nakita looked around. Where did the Taken dissapear to. "Howler! Faceless!" she called out. She held on to Kemino's snake as it landed on a nearby rock formation. This wasn't going to be good.

[Chronos]

as Nakita shouted for them, The Taken were a bit occupied with problems of their own. Both of them were facing huge, impossible numbers, around the 10000 to 1 mark. "We could use some help here!!" The Howler shouted at them, as he tore a robot limb from limb.

Kaori turned to Twilight "Looks like we're on our own for now. Come on let's head to the village."

Nakita wasted no time and leaped into the fight.
"Nakita!" Kemino called at her, but she was already gone. "Dammit," she hissed. Nakita still had the poison in her body... It still had two hours until her body's immune system got rid of it.
"So are you going to leave her?" Kinika asked in her snake tonuge.
"No," Kemino hissed back, "we need to get rid of these things. If they're this close to Suna..."
"Oh stop worring about Shukaku," the snake said, "he'll be fine."
"Yeah, you're right. So ready to have some fun?"
"I've been on your arm for weeks, of course!"
Kinika leaped off of the rock and landed down, taking quite a number of enemies out. Kemino jumped of her snake and started to take down the enemy, one by one.

When Nakita landed, she took out her blade and started to cut down her oppents. 'Damn, this would be a lot easier if I could summon something,' she thought to herself, 'but that poison hasn't ran it's course yet.' She continued fighting. She saw Kemino's snake come out of nowhere and she laughed. They sure knew how to make an entry. Nakita turned and ducked from an on coming attack. She kicked the attack into a group of them and then periced them with her sword. She looked around for her allies. Howler was getting attacked for all sides. Nakita ran over and took care of the ones behind him.
"Any idea of what these things are?" she asked him, attacking more that were coming.

[Chronos]

As they kept fighting, it seemed like their attacks had less of a effect, plus the ones who supposedly "died" were pulling themselves together. The Howler growled, and tore another one to pices. "It seems that these are the "Machines" Itasuske told us about. It seems they can adapt to our attacks as well...."

"Oh just great," Nakita groaned, "they fix themselves! This is going to more annoying that fighting Kabuto... Woah wait, that Itasuske told you about?" What did Itasuske say? She hated being clueless about stuff.

On the other side of the flood area, Kemino was getting pissed. She made Shadow Clones and they took out some, but soon the machines got rid of them. "Damn," she hissed. It seems like they fell for an attack but when you go and do it again, they know how to counter it. 'So basically we need to come up with a way to destroy these things in one blow,' she thought to herself. But not even her Shadow Snake could take out this many, she would have to use it at least three times. Kemino leapped out of the crowd of machines and landed on Kinika. She made a noise, something between a whisle and a hiss, to get Nakta and the Taken to come over. They needed to come up with a plan and fast.

Nakita heard a noise and looked. She saw Kemino on her snake. "I think Kemino wants us," she said to Howler, "You go and I'll go find Faceless." The two parted their ways and it didn't take Nakita long to find Faceless. "Kemino needs us," she told him and then they both went over to the blue haired ninja.
"What's up?" Nakita asked as the four were together.
"These machines seem to be prgram to adapt to anything," Kemino said, "Once they get hit with one thing, they'll never get hit with it again."
"How about summoning something small that can get inside the machines and mess with it?" Nakita asked.
"The other machines would see it coming after about 3 got down."
"I tried," Nakita shrugged.
"So my idea is that we need to come up with some jutsu that can take out all of these guys at once. Any ideas?"

[Chronos]

Howler got a big, wide grin on his face. "Well, both me and Faceless over here are both Kage-level ninja, i think we could do something....." He nodded to the Faceless man, who surprisingly nodded back. All at once, the chakra in the air was palpable. "You two should head to the main sand village," Howler said as the sand around him was turning to glass from all the heat and energy.

Kemino looked around first, but nodded. Kinika poofed back to her normal size and went back under Kemino's bandages on her arm. She and Nakita raced off in the direction of Suna.

"yeah I guess you're right"

*twi grabbed her hand and they started jumping towards the village*

"we'll get through this together"

As both of them collected energy, the machines moved in closer. "That's right.....come closer" Howler said under his breath. When the energy reached a critical point, both Howler and Faceless made a explosive force of energy burst. everything within a 500 mile radius was completely obliterated.
