She thought for a second. "Maybe. I don't remember telling Gaara my last name... Oh well. I'm sorry, but why would Gaara send a chunnin on that kind of mission? I mean, I know you're pretty good at fighting, but I mean even the Hokage won't send ANBUs out to look for them." Despite saying this, Emily was smiling. This may be her only chance to try and get to her brothers before something happens. And maybe she could find out what really made Itachi kill the clan. "Why don't we go to my house before going anywhere. I feel kinda bad after blowing you up. Plus you are all out of chakra. Also it'll give us a chance to pack."

Konari internally smiled. "Phase one, complete." he notted internally. He let nothing show, though, that he was planning anything. He followed Emily to her house, and waited to go inside. "Of course Gaara knew this kunoichi's last name, but that was through a intelligence file. Now that I KNOW she is a Uchiha, and have set the proper bait, she will follow where I know the first lead is. Now, I do have to follow Lord Kazekage's orders, and find all information that I can about the Uchiha clan, and I am in a position to capture, but not kill any Uchiha that I meet. I need to develop a Capture-type puppet. Konkuro-sensei's Black Ant puppet is a good example to follow, but I doubt that it could capture a Jonin-level Ninja. She dosen't know that I am the only 'Chunin' level in my village's hunter-nin squad. They would have sent Konkuro-sensei, but he was indisposed. Now is my chance to prove that I deserve at least Jonin rank. Now, back to that puppet...." he was talking internally to himself, but pulled out what looked like a blueprint for puppet construction. It looked very simmilar to Black Ant, but it also looked........bulkier, as if made by a different material.

Leading Konari into the old house, Emily said, "Make yourself at home, but don't break anything." She left him in the living room, going to the kitchen. She looked in the cupbords and fridge, seeing what food there was. Mostly it was instant ramen, cereal, and mircowavable meals. Emily was too lazy of a person to actually make something with the oven and/or stove.
She poked her head out from around the corner. "I'm assuming you can feed yourself, right?" she asked, not really wanting to spend money on takeout.

Konari looked up from his blueprint and blinked. "You do know I just traveled, by foot, from the Sand Village to the Leaf Village, right? Yes, I can feed myself." He demonstrated this by pulling out one of his puppets, the shield-type that was not Sword. "Shield here has a portable refrigerator. Good for long-distance travel." He pulled out of Shield's torso what looked like a meat-filled sandwich, and took a big bite out of it. "We have little time to waste, though. The one lead I do have is in a village a good 600 miles off. You should pack, and we should get going," he said, after swallowing his first bite.

'Jeez. I was only trying to be nice, jerk,' Emily thought to herself. Outloud she said, "That's my plan." She left Konari in the living room and went to hers. It was a basic room with a bed, dresser, and desk. She moved her bed to the side and opened a hole in the floor. It was her onw little weapon vault. She took the basic needs and some other extra stuff, after much thought. Then, after moving the bed back, she layed on it. She thought about what she was going to do. She was disobaying her higher-ups, leaving the village with a boy she barely knows, and going to look for her brothers. Tears formed in her eyes as she saw memories of the time before the massacure. "Itachi.... Sasuke." She covered her eyes with an arm and sobbed silently to herself.

Konari fiddled with his blueprint. It was a nice idea, in theory, but it lacked a protection against Genjutsu, which he knew was a Uchiha specialty. He pondered to himself, and came up with a idea. He knew that he wouldn't know if he was trapped in a illusion until the enemy thought it was too late. So, using that logic...... He snapped out of his thoughts and looked at the time. He had to get going soon, or else his contact would leave the village he was in. "You packed yet? I do have a deadline I have to keep up, you know." he said, not knowing what Emily was doing in her room.

She jerked at Konari's voice. "Sorry," Emily called out, composing herself. She came out of her room with her stuff. "You sure you're ready for this?"

Konan Smiled. "Always have been," he said, put his blueprint up, and leaped out of a open window. He quickly made his way to the Leaf Village's Gate. "Now, don't fall behind, we have a long way to travel.

"Oh please," Emily said, rolling her eyes. "I can keep up with Lee and Gai. I think I know how to be speedy." She followed closely behind Konari. She had her senses on alert, watching out for anybody/thing.

Konan sprinted through the trees. The next town, where his contact was, was a good day on foot. He needed to shorten that distance as much as he could, so he did a short flip, disguised Sword to look like him, made himself wrap up in a bandage cacoon, and let Sword do all the work. Sword, in turn went much faster than his master could, and was traveling at speeds that equaled that of lee without his weights. It would shorten their time by at least three hours if Emily could keep up the pace throughout the day.

Emily saw Konari do his trick and rolled her eyes. 'Lazy.' She sped next to the puppet and looked it over out of the coner of her eye. She looked at all the joints she had saw it come apart at. She then slightly shook her head. What was she thinking? She didn't really trust this guy, they just met, and here she is going with him to find her brothers. Maybe that was it... just the thought of them coming home... 'Stop it Emily! It doesn't matter now. What's done is done. Just keep your head up and keep moving.'

**About 7 hours later**
Through a optical jutsu, Konari saw the town just ahead. As he reached the gate, he got out of his wrappings, and did a small sealing jutsu, pulling Sword back into a summoning scroll. "Now, my informant should be within the town, shouldn't be that hard to find......" He looked into the crowd, and spotted the man, and made a small grin. He walked up to a mousey, small man with over-large glasses. "Hey there, Ponch, how's it goning?" He said with a sarcastic slap on the back and even more sarcastic tone of voice. Ponch, as his name was, jumped about ten feet when he heard Konari's voice. "Ahhh.... umm...what?" He said, trying to scurry back to some sort of self-semblence. "Come on, Ponch, you know me...." Konari said. And Ponch did. "Ah, Ko..Konari. I thought you wouldn't be here untill tommorow....." Ponch said evasively. Konari leaned in. "Well, looks like I'm a bit early, then huh? You heard anything about mr. red-eyes?" Ponch looked side to side nervously. "Not right time, let's head inside, yeah?" Ponch got up and started walking to one of the small, square building. Konari shrugged, "What you say, Emily?"

"I would prefer you not to call my brothers 'Mr. Red-eyes,'" Emily said, standing behind Konari. She looked over Ponch. He didn't seem threatening but that's how most informates usually are. Then she looked at the building before saying, "We need the info, right? Then let's go in."
